Terms & Conditions


At Black Ink Content, we stick to the following terms and conditions and have the right to alter, add, omit and change these terms and conditions as and when required without any prior notice. However, we do attempt to inform our clients via email upon making any changes. By signing up for our services, you agree to abide by the following terms of service.

Turnaround Time:

Black Ink Content aims to deliver content in 5-7 business days. However, the turnaround time can vary depending on the complexity and word count of the project. Urgent orders with a specific deadline are prioritized.

The turnaround time begins after we have received sufficient information about a project. If some details are missing or further clarification is necessary, delays may be caused.

Black Ink Content understands that the first draft may miss the mark. However, it is the client’s responsibility to anticipate the additional time that may be needed for revisions. Please note that revisions are not included in the turnaround time.

Contact us to get an estimate for turnaround time for bigger projects. We aim to accommodate most projects.

Revision Policy:

Client satisfaction is our top priority. If a client is not satisfied with the initial draft, they are entitled to an unlimited number of revisions. However, the client is expected to ask for the first revision within 7 business days of receiving the content. If the client places a revision request after the specified time without any justifiable reason, Black Ink Content is not obligated to go through with the revisions.

The client can ask for revisions if instructions were misunderstood or overlooked and if there are any factual or grammatical mistakes in the content.

Please note that revisions don’t include changes to initial project guidelines. Black Ink Content is not obliged to make changes that were not included in the initial/original instructions. If revisions include adding more content or contradictory information to the original guidelines, then additional payment may be required to move towards project completion.

Black Ink Content is not obligated to revise any previously approved content.

Refund Policy:

A 100% refund, minus the transaction fees, will be provided if a refund request is put in before work has started on the project.

Clients can ask for a refund if they are not satisfied with the work. However, in such cases, a partial refund is provided, depending on the work completed. Black Ink Content has the right to not issue a refund on the amount of work completed. However, if the client has a specific complaint and wants a complete refund, they can send us a refund request. After assessing the situation, we will resolve the issue in a fair manner. 

For the content that has been completed, clients can ask for unlimited revisions until they are satisfied with the content. All revisions will be addressed as long as the request for a refund or revision adheres to Black Ink Content’s revision policy and is placed within 7 business days of delivery.

If any revision or refund request is not made within 7 business days of receiving the completed order, Black Ink Content will assume that the client is satisfied with the content and will consider the project as complete.

Black Ink Content is not obligated to issue a refund once the order has been approved.

Originality and Ownership of Content:

We value customer satisfaction and work hard to provide content that is original and informative. We have a strict no-plagiarism policy and run all our work through plagiarism checkers to ensure 100% originality. Exceptions to this include legal and technical phrasing as well as any quotes or dialogues that that can’t be rephrased.

Once the work has been completed and approved, the client earns full ownership of work and all rights are transferred to them. Black Ink Content doesn’t hold any publishing rights and doesn’t reuse or resell content.

Use and Publication of Images:

Black Ink Content isn’t responsible for transferring rights to any images. We do not claim ownership of any images we recommend to our clients. The copyright of all images remains with the original photographer or publishers.

Every image recommended to our clients has links attached to the original source. The responsibility of giving credit to the owner of the image and linking it to the original source during publishing lies with the client. The client needs to adhere to any publishing guidelines provided by the owner of the images and make sure that they are not infringing on any copyright issues.

Black Ink Content strives to provide royalty-free images. However, in any case, where no royalty-free images are available that are relevant to the client’s work, we do suggest images available on third-party sources. The client is responsible for purchasing these images before using them.

Right to Refuse Content:

Black ink Content has the right to refuse any order or project without any reason. Types of content that we refuse to work on include, but are not limited to:

-          Academic essays/reports/papers for students

-          Erotic content

-          Insensitive racial or religious content

-          Content that goes against our moral values

-          Content that our writers feel uncomfortable working on

-          Malicious or slanderous content

Black Ink Content does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

In the case of refusal, a full refund is issued. Before placing an order, clients can contact our customer representatives for clarification.

Order Policies:

Abandoned Orders

It is the client’s responsibility to provide sufficient and correct information in order to complete work on time. Along with the confirmation email, clients receive a questionnaire for complete details on the type of content that is required.

If the questionnaire form doesn’t contain sufficient information and no clarification is provided despite further correspondence from our end, the order will be automatically canceled after 30 days. In such a case, no refund will be issued.

Changes to Your Orders

Changes to order can only take place before work starts. Changes to original instructions or providing new/additional information will not be allowed after our writers have started work and/or the order has been placed for more than 24 hours. 

Approval of Orders

The project moves toward completion once the client has approved the work. Approval of work must take place within 7 business days of receiving the order. If Black Ink Content doesn’t hear back from the client within 7 business days, it will be assumed that the client is satisfied with the content and has approved it.

Upon approval, the client holds complete ownership and responsibility for the content. All rights are transferred to the client. Black Ink Content is not responsible for any revisions or refunds after the work has been approved.


Black Ink Content doesn’t start work until the order has been placed and the payment has been processed and verified by us. This applies to new clients as well as ongoing clients.

Word Count:

The word count may not be delivered as an exact amount since it is an estimate. Our writers will make sure to fall within the range of fifty (50) words more or less than the desired word count.
